Description:

Cylindrical filter cartridges are a common and widely adopted filter structure in laser cutting dust removal systems. Featuring easy installation & maintenance and reliable sealing performance, they fit all types of pulse backblow dust collectors.

Core Technical Advantages:

Superior sealing performance: High-strength polyurethane adhesive bonds end caps with filter media. A 1.1cm wide fluororubber soft sealing ring or neoprene rubber strip is fitted around the circumference of each end cap. During installation, the dust collector’s clamping mechanism compresses the cartridge end cap against the tube sheet to form a tight seal and prevent bypass leakage of dust-laden gas.

Great adaptability to pulse cleaning: The pleated structure withstands repeated impact of high-pressure pulse airflow (0.4–0.6MPa). The composite structure of media and support frame delivers strong collapse resistance, maintaining intact structure after thousands of pulse cleaning cycles per day.

Optimized airflow distribution design: Gradient-density filter media with increasing fiber density — coarse outer fibers with large pores and denser inner layers. Large particles are trapped on the outer layer while fine particles are captured inside, enabling full-depth media utilization and higher dust holding capacity.

Oval cartridges deliver larger filtration area and lower pressure drop within the same installation space yet at a higher price. Oval cartridges must be adopted if the dust collector is designed with oval cartridge slots.

A: Selection depends on the dust collector’s installation space and required airflow:

600mm length: For standalone dust collectors, airflow 800–1500m³/h

660–900mm length: For small centralized systems, airflow 1500–4000m³/h
