Description:
HB 400 filter cartridges are dedicated filter elements designed for HB400 series metal 3D printing equipment. Adopting a compact cylindrical structure, they are well suited for the confined internal installation space of the printers.
Designed in compliance with EN 779 / ISO 16890 standards, this product reaches F9 filtration grade with ≥85% particle counting efficiency for particles ≥0.4μm and initial resistance ≤150Pa. Its dimensions precisely match the filter chamber of HB400 series machines to achieve reliable sealing performance.
Core Technical Advantages:
Space-saving compact design for limited installation space: The HB400 series features a compact filter chamber. The filter height is optimized to fit the internal structure of the printer, delivering easy installation and dependable sealing.
Effective filtration for iron-based and aluminum-based fumes: Suitable for printing with stainless steel, tool steel, aluminum alloy and other materials, it maintains stable filtration efficiency and sufficient dust holding capacity.
Optional antistatic treatment: Customizable antistatic filter media (surface resistance ≤10⁹Ω) is available for printing explosive dust materials such as aluminum alloys.
Application Fields:
HB 400 Series Equipment
Applicable Printing Materials:
Tool Steel (18Ni300)
Stainless Steel (316L, 17-4PH)
Aluminum Alloy (AlSi10Mg)
Cobalt-Chromium Alloy (CoCr)
Typical Applications:
Conformal cooling channels for injection molds
Die-casting molds
Orthopedic medical implants
Automotive components
FAQ
Q1: Are HB 400 filter cartridges interchangeable with standard cylindrical filters of imported brands?
A: They are not interchangeable. Please confirm your equipment model before placing orders.
Q2: Is special filter media required for aluminum alloy printing?
A: Dust generated during aluminum printing carries explosion hazards. Antistatic filter cartridges (surface resistance ≤10⁹Ω) are recommended, and reliable equipment grounding must be guaranteed.
Q3: Does the filter replacement cycle vary with printing materials?
A: Yes. Printing titanium and nickel-based alloys generates heavy fume load with shorter replacement intervals; stainless steel and tool steel have moderate cycles; aluminum alloy produces less fume for relatively longer service life.
